Amybeth McNulty (born in Dublin the Irish city of Dublin) is an Irish Canadian actor. She is most famous for her role as Anne Shirley from the CBC/Netflix series Anne with an E. The drama is based off Lucy Maud Montgomery's novels Anne of Green Gables, first published in 1908. Amybeth McNulty grew up in Milford County Donegal Ireland. Her father is Irish as is her mother Canadian. Amybeth McNulty was born Ireland on November 7, 2001. Amybeth will turn twenty in 2023. Her family was born and raised in Donegal in Ireland. She is a dual national of both Canada and Ireland. Her hair is blonde. Anne was also in a tense connection and a complicated relationship with Gilbert Blythe who was two years older than Anne and was also studying at her degree after his studies were stopped when his father fell unwell. When they first met as classmates, Gilbert teased Anne by giving her the nickname Carrots. Amybeth McNulty stars as Anne, a 13-year-old who has been through a difficult childhood living in orphanages, as well as houses of strangers. Anne is a young orphan living in a secluded environment for most of her life, is taken through a mistake to the aging Cuthbert siblings on Prince Edward Island. The show ends in 1919. Gilbert and Anne remain happily together. Gilbert is 55 years old and remains affectionate with Anne.
